You're taking sideways steps

To save yourself a lot of time and hassle phone up a few insurance companies and see what sort of figures they come back with.

Buy a calibra or cupra then and spend double its value on insurance, it doesn't bother me

how do you reckon pass plus will half it? it all depends on where you stay and a whole host of other things even with pass plus.i know people who have done pass plus and it hasn't made any difference or very little what so ever.by the way you're talking i don't want to be on roads near you,2 litre cally turbo dreamer

Are you insuring it as a named driver?

I can't even insure a calibra turbo that cheap at 21 with 1 year NCB (which is all you can have )

Our 13 year old 1.4 sri is quite capable of sitting at 85mph on the motorway. How is that not quick enough, its breaking the limit as it is Why dont you get a fast enough car and have your own insurancee policy, therefore making it easier and cheaper in the long run to get a decent premium on a decent car instead of relying on the work of your parents / whoever
