i want an upgrade in a few months from my corsa.
im 18 though so nothing too fast lol
i was thinking a cally T but heard bad things bout the 4x4 system.
any recomendations?

i think it was £1500 when i checked on confused.com, but now that i think bout it, that was probably with quinn who ive heard bad thinks about

never gettin insured on a cally turbo for 1500 quid mate at 18 years old! im 1400 quid on my 1st car which is a 1.2 16v corsa

You're taking sideways steps

To save yourself a lot of time and hassle phone up a few insurance companies and see what sort of figures they come back with.

Buy a calibra or cupra then and spend double its value on insurance, it doesn't bother me

i no going to buy any car before i no what insurance would be, just trying to think of good cars. slowest il go is a 1.6 sport

well if i get a 1.6 sport then it will be cheaper so il have the money for insurance. i have pass plus so that will half it lol

how do you reckon pass plus will half it? it all depends on where you stay and a whole host of other things even with pass plus.i know people who have done pass plus and it hasn't made any difference or very little what so ever.by the way you're talking i don't want to be on roads near you,2 litre cally turbo dreamer

no evidence of sarcasm there.but yes get a 1400 sport,perfectly quick for an 18 year old and very tuneable cars.wish i had bought a 1400 sport instead of my sxi

Are you insuring it as a named driver?

I can't even insure a calibra turbo that cheap at 21 with 1 year NCB (which is all you can have )

when im 18 with 1 year ncb i can get insured on a bmw 318 e36 cab for 2.1 k which isnt to bad because im paying 1600 for my 1.2 corsa b

Our 13 year old 1.4 sri is quite capable of sitting at 85mph on the motorway. How is that not quick enough, its breaking the limit as it is Why dont you get a fast enough car and have your own insurancee policy, therefore making it easier and cheaper in the long run to get a decent premium on a decent car instead of relying on the work of your parents / whoever

On confused.com i got quoted £7000 something or other to insure a impreza i could afford to buy. Was gutted about insureance. That was me being 18 with 1 write off aswell!
