Got a 2007 octavia tdi myself not a bad car very nice and comfy especially on long journeys!

Can get 600+ miles to a tank and it costs the same to fill as the evo and that only manages 200 tops

Also test drove one today, and same as went with an open mind. Never expected to be as impressed as i was with it. Going to buy one now, just waiting for Mr Dealer to get his head out of his ass and realise that our part ex car is being valued 2k under what they are selling for. Going for a yellow one, got to be quick tho as its only new one left in country in yellow (so he said)
