does any one on here have the new shape polo gti? i stupidlly went to the lacol vw car dealer last night and fell in love with a red one there for £14,000

Does anyone know what they are like to drive

150bhp, brakes are shocking till there bedded in as well

well buolt cars though, with a remap and around 200bhp they would be

brakes should be ok as its a used car going next thursday for a test drive and to sit down and sort out the finance so corsa may be for sale soon

Have you tried other cars? Don't buy the 1st car you test drive and end up with possibly not the best one for you! Loads of good cars to choose from these days!

I like the exterior, but the seats were awful in the one i looked at, kind of tartan effect.

yeah i noticed this aswel, was tartan looked awful, a good leather trim would sort that out.

My mate has one, lovely cars, but you cant help but feel like its a poor mans golf

Don't get me wrong though, car is nice to drive, fast enough, and comfortable.

IMO, I think there are better drivers cars out there for the money, but in terms of build quality you won't go wrong with the polo.

my mate kris has a black gti on some white BBS style rims with a polished lip - looks awesome!

Pretty quick aswell! It isnt as quick off the mark as say an SEh or sumit (as they have the same amount of bhp), but it picks up real nice!
