no pics it is on the shop floor getting tigged up where its cracked. yeh its from the bay. it looks noting at all like the 1 that is on given that the can is part of the current 1, there is no welds on the tubes and they are all bent correctly and professiobnally so i see no way it can be a botch job

the design of the manifold is critical to the cars performance, that manifold wont help as you will have high gas speed from the primaries into a large chamber which will slow down gas speed and then into a smaller diameter pipe.

fit it, get it dyno'd and see if its helped at all.

there is no chamber mate well not really its just 4 pipes into 1 pipe, the cat would slow gas more. but i do see your point.

not spending 30 quid on a dyno run for a manifold that only cost 25 mate, wait till its cammed with an inlet. then a remap and we will get it back on, see if we can beat our 82.9 wantin 130 in the end tbh.

i know it will cost big for that though

de-cats remove restriction for gas flow.

this isn't really a problem low down the revs, but higher up, it'll offer less restriction without the cat and it should breath a bit easier. may lose low town torque though

its top end where it suffers at the moment, dave a can back this up that it has a huge flat spot at 5000rpm so maybe this will help tbh either way its 25 pound im not gonna complain
