Somewhere good for shopping? And I'll be getting the train.
Preferably not London as it scares me.

I don't like it.
It's not great. There are to many people and it smells funny.

if you're thinking about a few days away with a little shopping thrown in then i would say Edinburgh, plus you can tour the castle if you get bored of shopping

shopping is pretty good there, but i would aim for the Trafford centre in Manchester.
But i certainly wouldn't spend a few days in either place, Edinburgh still gets my vote for a few days away

I've been the trafford centre millions of times. I used to live 10 mins down the road. Fancy a change.
