basically what youre earning and where you are in life!? for ages ive been waiting til now (another years no claims and a year older) to get a new car... getting a loan out etc. thing is ive really say down and thought about it, and i hate debt! literally all i do is drive to work and back, i really dont need to be spending £6k+ on a car.

so the way i see it you either a) drive a car a lot less than you can afford, and sit easy with money in the bank... b) drive a sensibly priced car for your situation, spend a bit on it and just enjoy the car for what it is... or c) have a really nice, up market car that youre in debt with!

I do all the bits my self fu*k the garages and there silly prices
Only way to I learn is if I teach I and if i make a mistake then ill try again.

My 1st car cheap payed cash never had a problem never looked back it has potential and would be alot nice if I fitted all the parts I have for her

Am I a cheapskate

Would rather the power over looks
Havnt worked do to a bone tumour for 18months but used my brain to sale old bike parts I had and also built a gilera runner 172 from a bare frame.

Dont know what this makes me, should have put lucky on the poll

I often think my car gives out the impression that I'm on a pretty good wage and I'm in a comfortable position financially, but the truth is I'm not really... I'm not really living the lifestyle I'd like to be living (realistically)... always run out of money before I get paid, and I'd be out clubbing every weekend and going on holiday if I could afford it but I can't.

Get the violins out

You need a couple of cars. That way you can adopt any persona you wish. When I first moved in to this flat I used to drive my Astra to work in a suit, the come home and get changed in to track suit and go out in my Corsa. My neighbours thought twins had moved in.

I dont think many folk have a car that represents their status or wealth. Most people I know have a budget & get what they like but I never think shit, he's made it driving his '___insert car name here___' unless their in a Bentley or Lambo or something

The gym where you climb in through someones back window, remove electricals and jewellery and then finish off with a quick sprint into the night?
