some idiot woman decided to overtake me while next to a truvelo camera and it flashed pink, i have noticed this b4..but people say they dont?

also i dnt understand how they work out your speed cos the flash happens like when the car is next to/past the camera?

does the other truvelo on other side of the road take another pic as well? ie they work as a pair?

Turvelos do flash - but Infrared flash - you MIGHT see a faint red flash. They take a picture of you head on and take your speed by two inductive strips in the road infront of the camera.

I've had one flash me on my motorbike.

as has been said its pink/purple flash and is defo visable.

i know, i thought the point of them was so that they couldnt blind drivers when they flashed....the strips are quite close to the camera and the 3 strips are only a few inchs apart, i dnt see how it can be measured

The distance between the strips...
I dont like going past truvelos, as atleast with gatso's you know you've been done if you see a flash in your window,lol.

How brights the flash the truvelos give out?
