I know a girl who works in Netto, she's been there for about 5 years working part time whilst at college/uni.

She pays all her fees, not took out a student loan and has a little saved. I really don't know how she does it! Must be wrecked 24/7.. She's a really brill person too. If she wants something she goes for it - juat never met anyone like her in my life.

One thing i've learnt is that if you want something then go for it. Don't follow your mates.

I've not used Lidl, but I love Aldi - the cured meats ( Palma Ham, Serrano etc) which would normally cost a fortune in a normal supermarket are really cheap. The fresh bread is really nice, tapas type stuff is good as well.

Wouldn't say any of it is exactly skanky; nor would I say you have to be poor to use it. Infact the ones around us seem to attract more wealthy clientelle than 'poor' - I'd say it's the sensible way to shop

Yea there are a lot of "rough" ppl who come in from the nearest council estate!

Most of the time it's just old ppl, bargain buyers and lil kids!
