Woke up monday with a sore neck....I pretty much put it down to stress (been under the cosh at work for quite a while now)

I decided to take the day off work because there was no way I could drive, so had a lye in and woke midday (ish)

About three o'clock I had a tickle in my nose but was typing so just let the sneeze rip.....

Bad idea

Fooking agony

it felt like somebody had stabbed me in the neck and taken the knife down to my shoulder blade.

Appaently the initial pain was a 'shrick' of the neck (or summat like that, I was in too much pain to listen to the doc) which means my neck muscles have been in spasm due to stress. The sneeze has now torn my Trapezium muscle between my neck, shoulder and shoulder blade.

So remember kids, Drugs and alcohol are bad for you...but sneezing when stressed is far FAR worse

i have pinched a nerve in my neck been in pain for months now, on heavy medication, going to see a chiropractor soon
