I know a GT-FOUR is a turbo but is a 1994 GT a turbo? Or is that just a straight 2.0L

Thats what i thought but got a quote for insurance and the GTfour was about £300 more expensive, for the extra £300 would it be worth getting the turbo??

Yes if you can afford to run a turbo yes there great fun your not only get the turbo your be getting 4 wheel drive.
