Was with a mate there going to the petrol station. Came round a sharp bend for a fox to run out in front of the car. Braked but hit it
Went back and looked around for ages but I could see a couple of them running about, but none dead or injured.
Feel terrible though , and also shows how easily a crash could of occured because my first instinct was to brake

Can't say I've had any trouble with Animals so far (touch wood) - I always get worried incase a deer runs out! those things could do a lot of damage!

I ran over a cat once. It was in the middle of no where, right outside a single house, the only house within about 5 miles either direction. Would've hated to see their faces when they reversed out to see there cat laying there dead . It completely ruined the underside of my first car

hit a deer at 80 a few weeks ago in the works van going down tha a1 it ran infront of a lorry missed it by inches then leaped over the central resarvation(sp) i slammed on the brakes and swerved a bit because there was nobody else on the road but still hit it only smashed the number plate tho, i checked the deer and it was dead the towing eye went into its back felt horrible, just goes to show 10mph over the limit does make a difference, if i was ging 70 i probably would have missed it,

i did a cat in my car a while back, only clipped it at about 20 with my front bumper, it ran off, don't know if it was alright after that.
then i did a rabbit in the workvan, all i saw was a brown flash and a thud under the offside wheel, it was pretty destroyed as i was doing about 60

as long as the car is ok. Plenty of foxes about.
Is a common occurence for me killing small animals living in the country, doesnt bother me unless they damage my car then i get pissed off

I've had countless rabbits, a fox, a badger, three deers (all at once) and a pheasant. I live in the middle of nowhere so theres millions of them about! pheasant was the worst, was doing about 90 and it smashed my headlight and broke the mounts, it ended up in the engine bay!

Same here
The worry thing i find is i cant phisically hit an animal i will do anything to get out its way, but when a person walks in the road i dont give a fuck, i carryon towards them thinking, your fault - stop showing off
