as above guys, im wanting a new 2.5" turbo back exhaust for the Astra.

dont want stainless as its overpriced and i have no reason to get stainless, would prefer mild steel.

Any help much appreciated.

Dave A at V Sport is a bit too far away for me really, unless i get a very very good price off him.

the cost isnt in the stainless, its in the fabrication. mild steel boxes arent much cheaper than a stainless one as there isnt as much of a demand for them. we do a full stainless system for the C20let in a corsa fitted for £250 wont be much more for the astra. We have an offer this month as well, free dyno runs before and after with ALL exhausts

Both pete and matt are top guys.

Had 2 problems with my exhaust. Rang them up and they just said, "get yourself down here and we'll fix it."

Oh and Dave, i asked if they knew you. They said yeah and to say hi.

is it worth getting the downpipe done Dave as its only about 2" diameter at the minute and the rest of the system has no Cat and 2 small boxes with along with big back box too (3 boxes in total) which i think is restricting it too much, plus the fact that its bodged on and is old and the bore is puny.

or would leaving the 2 inch downpipe be 'ok' but get a bigger bore exhaust (2.5") with 1 less box, a small middle box and a medium sized back box? would going 3" be excessive and would i lose power?

the car is not a LET but a 8valve turbo technics conversion running 7psi peak boost and i would guess around 160 bhp and similar torque

exhaust uk, or ascar as they were did mine.

Hear dubious stories about them, but its mainly the fitting rather than fabrication.
