I need to find out a house number, I know the name of the road, and which end the house is, but don't know the number.

Is there anywhere that I can find the number layout for a particular road?

There is something on their land which I want.

Instead of just taking it, I'm going to ask them

Writing a letter seems the best approach, as I don't have a telephone number, name, or e-mail address, and there's nowhere to park on their road.
