Can you use double sided sticky foam to seal a gsi spoiler to the boot?

Also what are the bolts at each side of the spoiler meant to fit in? Or can you just remove them?

If you're fitting it to a non-spoiler boot then sticky pads won't be enough to keep it on. They're only on the standard one to stop vibration and seal it a bit. The bolts two at the side and five along the top edge are what actually hold it on.

I have the black bit for the top but i was just wondering if you could use that sticky foam. Iv got two bolts on the edge, so il probably get rid of them
