Could anyone recomend anything to clean fabric seats with. I don't mind working hard to get it done nicely, so none of that supid spray on and hoover off Autoglym bollocks which smells of piss.

Silly me specced a car with orange seats which get grubby too quickly so I'm wanting to try something at the weekend or i'm going to spend £80 and get it valeted.

Could you not invest in a small steam cleaner? Might be worth it in the long run.

Something like:

(sounds stupid but it worked!)

ed can't see you doing any damage to the car or seats m8. It's just steam. It will lift all the grime out of the seats to the surface, kill any smelly bacteria and you can just clean with a regular car interior shampoo.

i used to hire out the rug doctors when i worked at somerfields.

was something like 19.99 for 24 hours or 39.99 for 48 hours at a time.

was so much interest in them and they are very good.

you do have to buy the cleaning stuff too though which goes in it, costs about 7 pounds iirc.

well the wallpaper steamers....

just steam all seats / door cards etc. in site (avoid electrics obviously) and leave for a minute or two, then just wipe the surface with a cloth and all the crap will come off!

There's no point paying for a nice interior then covering it up. It's only just got noticibly grubby after 8 months. So if I clean it every three months properly then there will be no issues
