didnt know that just hold both buttons. was reading sum guys thread about his mtech display and having no luck. suposidly the standard one does the same only it displays for 10 seconds or so. for diagnostic check etc. learn sumthin new every day

It shows your current speed, in km/h, if you've got an electrnically driven speedo.

Bit pointless anyway.

only upto 55kmh iirc, which again is pointless.

does also report it if cable driven, as it gets the values from the ECU.

Thats for the Radio, when you go over a set speed it turns it up.

omg beardy you just proved me right, my mum always used to blame me for turning the radio up in her corsa/tigra/astra/corsa c and i knew it turned it self up at a certain speed to compensate road noise but she never believed me

Never had my standard stereo in long enough to realise. Swapped it after about 2 mins of ownership

mine cums up " F 9s" then "F 189kph" then a reading after then cums up of current speed.

Mine goes F12 then F95 then current speed like 33kph (but only at the time i pressed it it doesnt change) then it comes up with loads of these funny circles with starts in the middle and above it says stuff like abs, pas etc.
