A guy that my missus works with has his own production company and has made a few demo movies that he has shown off to the bbc and other investors/production experts.
It premiered in london at the oden a few days ago, he hasnt said if he has managed to get any backing, but he handed his notice in today, so i would imagine he has got the support he needs.
Have a look at the trailer, and his webpage. ive seen the hour long demo, and i was majorly pissed off it ended! He has said it will be out in 2008

imo it looks just like a normal student video someone made, i didn't watch it all though i skipped 30 secs or so as it was the same stuff 
good luck if he gets backing though..

yeah agree kind of looks typical student movie type thing.
looks ok.
but it really is difficult to make a movie look proffesional.

yea from what i can make out, its just a demonstration of what they intend on doing, nothing 2 fancy yet, but i expect the final copy 2 b alot lot better. Alot of the actors are just people he know's with little acting skills. Although there's a few pro actors in it.
