Multicar quote is funny - the more cars you add, the cheaper each one becomes.

Currently insuring the Corsa (350), Astra (650) and Freelander (600).

Just added a Monaro to the quote and the Corsa came down to 260, the Astra to 622 and the Free to 560. Monaro is a grand, which is the cheapest I've ever been quoted.

So four cars for about what I paid to insure the Astra when it was new. Bonus.

Saw a red Monaro the other day. That is the only car that makes me jump out my chair and shout when I see one. Its almost scary.

Try Endsleigh. They are cheaper than what I'm paying this year, even with a crash declared

They're fine with my stuff but wouldn't cover me for an engine transplant in the Corsa which is why I'm rebuilding the 1600.

I insure my BMW with CIS with 6 years no claims for £700

Rang CIS a few days later and asked them to insure my corsa 1.2 as a second car, they gave me a discount and quoted me £800 MORE to insure the corsa too!

The corsa is worth £700 the BMW is worth 20 TIMES MORE!

I rang HIS up, told them I had 6 years no claims on the BMW and needed the corsa insuring

they did me fully comp and mirrored my 6 years NCB for less then £300

they did not even ask for proof I had 6 years NCB with CIS

so at the end of this year I will have 2 policies with 7 years on each
