Changed the main menu to red and put the evil vauxhall badge in the middle.. what you guys think?tacky or nice subtle touch?
Before:

After:

The touch screen itself runs off a p.c with an 80 gig hard drive in the glove box,so it does music, video, sat nav etc etc.

You can, but better (more efficient, smaller) to get a dc power supply. Popular models include m2atx and Opus. Personally I have always built my own powers supplies for my car pcs.

who ever asked the price, the touch screen itself was about £130 and the p.c etc including gps reciever, opus power supply(no need for an inverter and powers up and shuts down automatically when you turn the ignition key) was about another £250
m2rty i actually wish id gone for a 7 inch screen, but when i first started the project i just thought the bigger the better but ive learned since then. is that your corsa in the link? personally i didnt want to get rid or move any of my heating controlls etc.
pow.if you need any help just ask.are you a member of mp3car.com? its a must if your making your own car p.c.

www.digital-car.co.uk is also worth a look. I'm on both sites under the same username as here.
And www.linitx.com is good for bits and pieces (uk based company with an excellent reputation).

yeah its my old old car mate,
heater controls were installed in glovebox
then the next owner put them back where there were meant to go but down a bit with smaller knobs - if that makes sence
