ive just got a corsa sport as a project was crash damaged cat c.
im trying to work out why the passenger wheel is at that angle, i took the wheel off and was expecting something to be bent, but looking at it i cant see anything obvious. tried pulling on strut, lower arm to see if it was loose but seems solid.
you might not see in the pic but the part that the strut is bolted to at the top has moved slightly, but only a small amount so im hoping that will know back into place and i dont think thats the cause.
take a look at the pics and let me know if you have any ideas.

Are you sure the strut isn't bent/twisted?

If the wheel moves side to side then it could be a collapsed bearing or CV?
Do you mean you can grab the wheel and it wobbles when its jacked up?

no, i mean when u turn the steering from side to side the strut turns freely.
the bearing is ok, there was no damage to the wheel

Are the bottom arms the same on both sides?

if its been replaced at some point it may have been replaced with a nova one maybe. I'd measure both of them to see if they're the same size

i will take off the strut to get a better look when i get a chance.
as the strut holds the hub in position i think it will be the problem as the wheel is angled as if its turning right slightly but also the top of the wheel is leaning inwards.
Could i fit the strut from the other side to see if that sorts it out?
or are the made to only fit 1 side?
just an idea
