right, thinking about sorting out me boot again and changing my sub, currently its a 12 inch, but was thinking of upgrading to a 15 inch kicker l5 more than likely.
just wondered if the sub would have the same punch really i listen to dance , trance etc and drum and bass and thats about it lol
any help would be great cheers

I would keep with a 12"....... 15" will lack all the punch for stuff you are listening too.

15s are poo imo

a decsent 12 will sound miles better as richie said does lack punch

rattles aint quality mate, why the need for 2 subs is beyond me, if one descent one is good enough. IMO

2 decent 12" quality subs means double the quality and quantity

If you dynamat the boot etc it will sound brilliant, low or loud imo.

I used to have 2 x 12" aswell. 2 subs shift more air than one and does have a much better result. But in an SQ environment... 1 sub is more than enough.

In an SPL environment.... we all wanna knock peoples heads as we drive past

lol cheeers for all the advice looks like il stick with a 12 probably two got about 100 odd a sub perhaps really fancy a kicker l5 or one l7

Why a L5 or L7.... square subs arent all they are cracked up to be. They are quite stiff and tappy.

Go for something like a Alpine SWR-1242D or a Boston Acoustics G2.
