I needed to adjust my left mirror down tonight, yet it didn't work. Tried the drivers side to see if it was the mirror at fault or the switch, and that didn't work either, so I guess it's the switch.

Has anyone else had temperamental electric mirror switch. Everything else works apart from moving it down! To get a new switch, is it deep in the door, or just literally where the adjuster is?

What I thought too. Been looking on eBay and it appears to be. I just wanted to make sure!

Anyone else?

Deano, I have the same issue.

The dial type bit on top (the button you press) just lifts off the adjuster, and underneath you will see the part which moves.

On mine, the lower bit of the adjuster is split, so when you press the switch downwards, the dial moves but the adjuster itself doesn't. The only way I found to solve this, apart from a new switch, was pull the button out and use a pin to move the mirrors. This worked on mine!

Cool, cheers matey. I find pushing the glass down with my hand works new switches don't cost that much off eBay, it's just finding one with heated button as well
