I don't mean an ebay auction, I mean an actual go & stand with big blokes who own second hand car sales places & don't mind drinking out of polystyrene cups

My brother picks his new car up next weekend & needs rid of his current car fast. I also need to sell my old runabout, not so much in a rush but the drive space would be handy

My bro & dad went other week to auctions & they said there were some right shitters going through for £700-900 all the time Some banged out Corsa 1.2 8v in pea green with loads of rust & 85K on the clock went for £800 The new owners got their fee's on top of that too, doesn't make sense

Only thing I can thinkis that they sais there were loads of garys there (Kosovans) & they obviously don't know what there buying

Costs about £30 to enter a car, not to bad I think

We sell thousands of cars through auctions a week at work. Its scary what some cars get - some go really cheap some really expensive. I guess it just depends who you get there on the day. Just pop decent reserves on and your fine

where in yorkshire are u matt i use premier motor auctions in leeds about £15 to enter a car and ther take about 5% of the final price or £35 wish ever is greater as commision for selling it

I go the auctions quite regualy with my mates dad and his mates,

Ive been on the lok out for a cheap corsa to try and make a profit on, ive yet to see on go through for less than 650 and that was a flame pink L reg 1.2 8v with 112k on it, 2 craked B pillars bonnet lip rusted boot rusted and the chassis legs looked a bit dodgey as well, (basicly everything that goes wrong with corsas had gone wrong )
