I've just been to Tesco in my car, which has pretty much brand new Toyo T1-Ss on it.
They're crap, they can't even tame 112 horses, it's not even raining, it's just a bit wet everywhere
I remember them being a bit crap when I had them on my Corsa, but I'm sure they weren't as bad as this.
Anyone else have them and find them shocking in the wet?

i dont like them because t\of the wear, they dont last 5 mins.
grip wise they are good in normal driving.
never had any problems with them when they were within life

I never rated them that much, but that was due to how many miles I got out of them, not loss of grip etc.

My old ones wore out in about 6 weeks, but then I had just passed my test and was driving like a moron.
Maybe I just need less power

Contis are cool as they weigh less than everything else
I can't see a sportcontact2 being any good in the wet though TBH

toyos apart from r888's are in general utter gash-
you would be better wrapping your wheels in electric tape, they would last longer and grip better im sure

They were pretty good on my old car, just didn't last very long.
Now i'd much rather be running on kumho ku31s

Had T1 R's and S's in the past... R's are far superior to the S's but neither is a bad tyre imo.. I had R's on my astra estate that I did moon miles in and they held up brilliantly...
