might be able to get a tdi sport ibiza for 5k (the older ones before the FR came out are 130bhp) - and is a cheaper alternative to the fabia.

That or an older golf is about the best you'll get for 5k if you want a vag diesel

From looking at autotrader - you're looking at something around 2000 plate for an audi - something uber like this:

all vag diesels seem to have done moon miles, or are stupidly overpriced

i know it doesnt matter that much with mileage on the diesel lumps, but i feel bad spending 5k on something that isnt under 100k mileage

still stuck, if i was getting something petrol turbo then it would be an ocatvia vrs, but running cost issues
