Including the big fuck-off torrential rain on friday.

May or may not be a coincidence, but after driving through some huge puddles yesterday morning to get to work (no alternative routes, apart from the M40/M4 which was blocked solid) my Calibra now has a dead starter motor. So if I put down the cause as flooding, then £150 for me.

about an extra £20 in petrol.... i got caught in the M5 closure, came off at gloucester, found most roads there were blocked as well, went cross country a bit and decided to head towards evesham to eventually pick up the M42, which was a bad idea an I ended up with wet feet i kipped down for an hour in a random petrol station, then decided to head towards oxford to pick up the M40.... ended up gettin in at 6 this morning after 15 hours on the road.... not been out to the car yet so not sure on any damage apart from a wet mat, but it seemed alright on the motorway....

Nothing.

If my house floods, I'll be amazed, all the roads slope down from here to the nearest river, which is about 20m below us. If the water gets this high, that'll be quite impressive TBH.
