i am a PROUD owner of a lexmaul

agreed fully on 4k upwards bit

the car holds it normal driving style and when you are using the high revs it acts like a mini power-band between 4k and 6k...take it above 6.5 and the power drop loads and very quickly...

but i have about 6 mate's with 1.6 sports, most of them pretty standard and i allways pull away from them with no probs, even though my car is heavier and runs heavy 16's...not being big headed but alot of red-top owners have been in my car and said it pevs more freely then there's but doesnt have the torque

i think if i matched mine with a lightend fly, ported and polished head, steel rollers and a re-map i would give most standard xe owners a good run for there money, but if there xe is tuned there is no chance...

when jr had the lexmaul on his, he kept up with the xe owners to about 80mph, but his car weights about 200 kg lighter than most sports/gsi's
