right i ave £3000 max to play with and fancy something big and solid!

what cars would you people suggest for this kinda money...dont want anything older than about 1999! looked into a veccy sri v6...anything else for this kinda money? would love something rwd 8)

meh my dad used to have one..he sold it n wouldnt let me have it damn him! was a manual with leather too

the 3.0 is an insurance killer at 20 aswell

You'll need to go older than '99 to get anything decent Chaz, plus you'll need to spend more than 3k especially if you want an 8 pot i'm afraid.

Btw, a Vectra is a medium sized saloon/hatchback/estate and is def not a barge.

Still not barges.

Only cars that fit the bill are 7 series LWB, S-Class LWB and Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II or Spirit or similar Bentley. Maybe even a Yank

a veccy is a barge when im used to a corsa i do like the omegas buut unless i got an mv6 i would always feel a tad left down...cant believe how cheap bmw 7's are...the 728 in a R reg are under £3k and have EVERYTHING you can imagine!

any slightly smaller cars with nice throaty engines? alfa 2.5 but i dont trust alfas nor the 24mpg

may aswell just get a normal T5 as the R isn't much more power and good ones are way overpriced, although they have dropped a bit in general recently
