Ok i have another update

The corsa is now dead some how it slipped the timing and bent valves

The full extent of the damage is not yet known, but its looking like a top end rebuild

To say im gutted is an understatment, put alot of time and money into this car and looks like its gna need more spent on it

Will keep yous updated, unless i end up burning the damm thing

Well when i thought it couldnt get any worse it has

Have found the cause of why my t-belt snapped

There was a bolt wedged in at the cam causing it to lock and snap the belt not only has it bent the valves but it has also cracked one of the cam shafts

Its not a pretty site

Looks like one off the bolts that hold the splash pan on the rocker cover came loose and fell out

Looks like the best option will be to try sorce another head with cams and replace the whole thing

Well as you know it had a cracked cam and 8 bent valves  best thing to do was sorce another head and boy what a mission

But after a few days of find a part requests and emailing many breakers i finaly sourced 1

Arrived today an seems in good condition

Next thing to do is build the engine back up and pray
