. . .because my insurance renewal quote, at 19, 0 NCB, licence for 2 years 4 months, 1 claim at fault on a 12v Corsa was. . .

. . .£1,615.40

Good job Bell and Elephant were around the £1100 mark, depending on extras. Not bad considering I paid £1000 with 0 claims at fault.

I agree, I think insurance has gone up. I also think mine is more because I require guaranteed courtesy car, because I have no other way of getting to Uni.

I will probably try Adrian Flux, they might be able to help.

When I first got my car and paid £1000, that was a good deal I think having claims, at fault, are worse than 3 points tbh, as 3 points most people have these days due to the amount of speed cameras.

My insurance should have dropped to about £750 if I didn't crash though

Seriously, everyone go on The AA website, input details the same as me.

Dont put you had a crash into other quotes...

Say you're an NHS doctor, that does 1000 miles a year, and car is garaged with an alarm , £720 quote. result.

If they ask about profession, say you changed jobs, and realised you were in the wrong job.

And your garage is now used by another car, and never got round to fitting an alarm, as for mileage, your new job is quite far away lol

Not putting you've had a crash is illegal though.

Just got a quote from Endsleigh, £865.62 cheaper than what I started out on, even with claim.

Haven't got my renewal from Zurich yet though, might be alright.

if you say you garage your car and it gets nicked whilt sitting on the driveway or street then you are fucked and they won't pay out because you lied to insurance

just paid my insurance for the year, £2700 at the moment, 19 0 NCB, 2 claims pending, 0 points.

claims aren't my fault but the other blokes wouldn't admit it and wanted to mess about so i need to wait until i get the result from them and insurance should go down to 1600 quid with 1 years no claims.

Whittie, your recommendation of Quinn Direct, was, to put it bluntly, rubbish. I'd rather walk the 25 miles to Uni every morning.

You Pay:
£1,827.93

That can't be true. What if you stay round someone's house at the weekend or you go on holiday in the UK?!

ring and ask

i'm pretty sure that if you aren't at the registered keepers address (i.e. your own) then you are covered as normal because you have no way of putting it in your own garage or driveeay if you are not at your house
