Engine to run would need,
valves (if bent)
timing belt
water pump
gasket set
head bolts
maybe £150-£300 parts and labour on top of that
thats about it.. cant think of anything else.

nah fuck the ecotec. i didnt see that til after i posted.
i dont thing ebay is the best place to look tbh.
free ads etc. only thing is i dont want high mileage. i am re-building the engine anyway but dont want a block etc thats done 150k
i want to avoid doing the bottem end also
