Just started up my corsa after about 5 months, made a little vid of the exhaust as i wanted to see if there was any blue smoke or just black.
i have missed the sound of 6k revs.

seems to be overfuelling up top which i dont really mind.

630 miles on 45 quid! jesus christ thats good. my 1.4 only does 300miles to £40  f28 gear box or somthing?

no std f20 box, motorway driving at 80mph pretty much all the time. used just over half a tank to get there, put a tenner in on the way back to get it back home and went to work and back on that petrol twice
seriously was the best car ive ever built/owned. ok not got the thrill of the turbo, nowhere near as fast, didnt handle as good. but to drive it was effortless, comfy with the cally leathers, was fast enough to give a few things a good race (honestly it does get boring finding nothing on the road other than bikes that are good to race)
it did 14.6 1/4 mile on a 150k mile engine completely std. it was a great car

I'm deffo going for an XE when i have funds. im going to sell the GSI to help so should have this done soon! fuck the dent in my car that can wait

I know a chap that had the same thing to say about his XE compared to his let. He had the same car with the let motor in, and said it broke down, cam tensioners went twice in a week, wheel spun in 4th and sometimes 5th (if surface wasnt good) in the dry etc.
Swap that for XE and he said its miles better, you can get the power down, good on fuel, reliable etc!

mine has been sat there for about 5 months, has never been started. battery went flat, so stuck on some jump leads, and she fired first time. ran a bit tappy for a few mins, but then was growling like a gooden.

Yeah my ive had a few xe's and there pritty much destructable in standard form. i used to hit the limiter everywhere all day everyday and never once did it break down. and there has been a few that have had 120k plus on. still flying like a dream.

Id love to go out with you in your car, cant imagine how fast it would be as the fastest car i have been in properly is my XE
