all depends on how much you got!!

i.e. rebuilt engine etc...

1500 is average though

what does that include.

main thing that i am having trouble finding is the car with the engine. obviously i just want something with average miles thats cheap cus of no tax and mot. body doesnt matter if it all runs fine.

not worried about money its a project

dont have the cash right now. illl be getting the kit last. i need a donor car first as i can get it stripped and stored in a weekend

Cost Gaz about £1k, but he bought the engine and everything else thats needed with the engine for £500...

Already had exhaust etc.. But there was a couple of hidden costs..

I'd say set a budget of at least £1500

Dont waste your time getting a whole car, engine and loom is all you will needing from it.

Just buy an engine you can hear running first or from a decent sourcee

see i get people trying to sell me engines all the time. i want the whole car though so that i have everything i need. all the pipes, loom and brakes etc. and ill get the money from the scrapped shell and money from bits i sell on.

I suppose if you have space and you need the brakes etc its worth it for you.

The way I see it is the cheaper you buy the car the more likely the interior / bodykit / anything else you can sell will be more than likely scrap anyway.

Luck of the draw I suppose though, my mate bought a Calibra and made more back on parts than he bought the car for so swings and roundabouts as they say !

depends if you can be bothered with sorting out the shell and whatever else I'm not just selling the engine on its own of course, it comes with all pipes and ecu

keep looking in local papers ect... i got engine gearbox loom brakes power cap ect.... £150 everyfing 2 convert! guy sed it will never run lol
