Just sorting out a new phone, was on orange but changing to t-mobile did have the w810i, not much of a phone geek but the w810i was a good phone.

looking at a more feature packed phone now and the N73 looks cool, what are peoples views on it? can you change the skins like the old spv orange smart phone?

they offered me a better deal than orange did, been with orange for 7 years with bills regularly over £100 due to the usage! so t-mobile won, dont have time to ring around everyone

My girlfriend just got a N73 on T-Mobile as well, it's a nice phone but as Jambo says a bit slow, also don't like the Symbian OS (or whatever it's called)...

My O2 contract is nearly up but I'm going to go to PAYG as I don't really use my phone much now, might buy an SE K800i they are only about £150 from O2 I think (I'm sure you really wanted to know all that BTW ).

I'd persoanlly avoid any of the N series Nokias after a year of N80 ownership, poor battery life, annoying software problems (freezing, resetting etc) and nothing outstanding that my old Sony W800i couldn't do (apart from the tomtom sat nav I've installed on it).
I'll be going back to SE I think until Nokia sort their stuff out.

I've had an N73 and the black music edition, both echoey sometimes froze and were generally not very good.

When i phone my friend who also has an N73, it is that bad we can't communicate whatsoever.

I have to say I have the N73 and on the whole its a good phone..

My only problems with it are:

1. Lately it has started to overheat and feel really hot to the touch...based around the battery...

2. The buttons are a little small and too close to the base of the phone for a mans hand...although I manage...

3. The signal isnt the best at times...well it stated I have full signal but the call constantly breaks up...only happens sometimes though...mainly when im indoors...

Yes its a little slower than a SE...but it has some good features and its not ridiculously slow like some people are making out...its bareable...

It's slowness doesn't bother me, i'd take it being 4 times slower if it actually let me phone people and my voice be audible. Pain in the arse as it's the work phone and i'm on it a fair bit.

I've also had the battery heating up problem which drains a full battery within an hour tops, that seems to have fixed itself for now.

Yes mine seems to have used a lot of battery today...switched it off...and back on again...seems to have cooled down now...first time it has done it today since I got the phone...
