After ive driven my car for a while round town then go to pull up, its smells really bad - like rotton eggs coming out of the vents. it only does it when u stop still, once u get moving again it goes from the vents and my m8s say they can still smell it a little from the back. I thought it wud be the cat thats nackered, but the cat is fine, hasnt melted or anything and is still a nice honeycomb, as i only bought it last year about september time. anyone help? :

I had simular to this, turned out it was the washer fluid. As it drained off into the scuttle then came through the vents. Took me a while to relise until i found out it co-insided with me washing the screen.
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

mine was doing this not long ago but could only smell it when getting out the car but i went to my local garage and told them bowt it and they said the smell shows that your cat is working correctly so wouldnt worry bow it mate

I had a similar problem on my 106 - only did it if I ranted it or if it was hot? kinda strange I know I had a new Cat/Middle Pipe and it still did it... nothing to worry about mate it's just the way it is...!?

ive had it bout a year now, no aint tried changing the pollen filter. yer i got told that the cats working properly like. well i dont know but it always comes through the vents tho lol, makes my eyes water lol.

Boiling battery acid will smell like rotten eggs... Is your battery all right? It could be leaking.
