I'm joining the army

Filled all my paperwork out and done my entry tests. I'm going to be a pioneer

I'll be starting my training soon. I smoke about 20 cigs a day so i'm gonna die I've been given a fitness plan before i start the training. Basically, if i go by the sheet i have to run 2 miles every other day and do as many sit up's, press up's and pull up's as i can do. I dont run! I cant or my heart feels like its gonna stop

Anyway, i'll be a private in the Royal Logistics Corps.

Wish me luck

Not true tbh. I aint a bum cos i'm joining. I want to be able to travel, learn a trade for when i come out and its a steady income with little bills to pay so i'll have lots of money to spend on whatever i want.

Its not a job, its a way of life, my mate joined 10 years ago when he was 16 & ive seen him about 7 times when hes been on leave. He lives in England now at one of the bases.

Good luck with it, i too wanted to be in the army when i was 16ish but i have quite bad asthma. Was thinkng about the TA but its not cool enough lol.

If i had the choice to be in the services though i would chose to be a marine/comando rather than be in the army!
