any1 know of any apprenticeships goin for welder/fabricators in the NE of Scotland,hopefully arround the Aberdeen area as i need to fund my car as im almost 17!

go to your local college and ask and they will have a department that sorts out the apprenticeships or even connexions will help!

yeh thats the thing,ive done a course at my local college already,had an interview the other week for an welder/fabricator apprenticeship and was told id been shortlisted to 3 people,have experience from college with welding n fabricatin yet still didnt get the job

yeh.about 17 of them,and ive taken an aptitude test at this place called tullos trainin who get approached by over 100 compaines apparently lookin for all different kinds of oil industry based apprentices,thats how i had that interview last time.most of the compaines are just too 'above me' to even bother to acknowledge the fact ive contacted them.ok theyre busy people but they have a whole department of people to deal with this sorta thing
