After reading Rob B's guide on how to do this, I went out and bought all the materials for it.

Started off like this, a kerbed, silver wheel:



After muchos sanding & priming, then 3 coats of white, it now stands like this:





Just leaving it to dry, then lacquer. Should look even better, really shines with the white ATM.

And I didnt use contractor white line marker, before anyone asks

So will that be durable and not chip at all? Seems better than paying some chump £25 a corner.

Still got a while to wait before I start with the lacquer anyways. Used Simoniz white paint, was a right bastard at first, kept on spitting out wee bits everwhere, but after a good blasting with the heat gun, soon smoothed it out.

Cost me about £40 on materials, but theres gonna be loads spare, so ill have some primer and lacquer to do my arches with

did mine a similar way and lasted 5 months without a chip at all.

Apparently not, not after lacquer is applied.

Yeah, it wont chip . Ill take some better pics once the lacquer is on
