Ok i know i was bad and very lucky
Caught doing 38 in a 30 and 72 in a 40. Copper was sly trying to get me though I was in the right lane and he pulled over to the left lane so thought everything was fine and he wasn't going to pull me. Then he pulled into a petrol station and then come after me
Badger
Anyway, he asked a few questions like where i had been, had i been in trouble before, been banned from driving At which point i got a little worried. Have to produce my documents within 48 hours.
What i don't get is he that he asked for my licence and took some details from it Never had this done before! Normally just right out a producer..

"he asked for my licence and took some details from it"
For the 72 in a 40 I wouldn't be suprised if you get a court summons through the post!

Dunno, he never said anything about court. Said he was happy at my answers and to produce my documents within 28 hrs.
Checked on his mic thing where the car was registered etc. All come back the same as what i told him.
He was also asking if i'd been smoking weed tonight and if i had any in the car. Told him no and he could check the car if he wanted. Don't think he could be bothered tbh
Had one of my hoodies on too Could have been in a shell suit though

No within 6 months...
Yes a producer is within 7 days from the date of the offence.
And no you don't need to be given a thing at the roadside just a NIP (or that can come through the post within 14 days, however NIP's are commonly found on HORT1's - so check your paperwork carefully!
