Hummers max speed is approx. 100mph so would be fine...yet it is much heavier than the vast majority of cars that go faster and is certainly more polluting.

because if you feel the need to take a car, which youve spent you hard earned money on, onto a private track and go above 100mph then you can. If you decide to drive to another country that allows you to go over 100mph then you can.

Yea, my Punto which tops out at just under 120mph is over engineered and dangerous. I mean, it only has 5* NCAP Crash Safety and 3* NCAP Pedestrian Safety which makes it one of the safest cars you can buy. Oh, that and it's massive 1.3 engine only gets and average of 55mpg on a combined cycle. I think I shall sell it and buy a Corsa 1.0 12v which has a shite crash safety rating, no pedestrian safety rating and only does about 30mpg. That and it runs on petrol.

People should think before they speak really shouldn't they.

theres no need in everyday driving to exceed 100mph PLUS you loose your licence doing that speed so why the need (except like said tack days etc so thats the only reason really as far as i can see)
