was very lucky today i hit a pot hole on an island while it was throwing it down and the back end swung round and ended up on the middle of the island . luckely there was no cars so just reversed off and went . my heart was pounding a bit , didnt think i could get overstear from a corsa and luckely no damage done.

my corsa seems to like getting the arse end out when its greasy i cba drivin like a twat in the wet, like tonight i had a choice of about 3 races i let every 1 go i just watched them go round the corners and thought they was pretty mad, doin obviously 90-100 mph round corners that in the dry an mr2s span out,
tonight it was a civic si 4 door hatch with a boot then there was another corsa and a clio which ive gotta say i did play for a bit purely because it was funny,
i pretended to be flat out and watched his little face start smiling as he went past in his 1.2 clio then i dropped it into 4th and just tickeled the peddle barely touching it. only just over took i did but i wasnt aiming to race was just funny lookin at him.
personally though dont drive too fast in the wet or youll learn the hardway.

to be fair, i drive sensible, and then i drive quick.
whats the point in having a fun car if you aint gonna use it.
when i do daft things, its normally at night on country roads or open spaces. im on my own so if i lose it ive got me to blame and no else gets hurt.
i do take silly risks occasionly. but then we all do. anyone who say's they dont is lying. or just really really sensible
even now my dad does it, and he has a 1.6 zaffy. but he will still frown upon me doing daft things
im rambling so ill shut up,

I was driving at about midnight last monday, had to slam my breaks on cus a flipping lorry pulled out on me. The car spun out in the middle of the road, was very scary as i've never had an accident before, luckily i didnt hit anything but the lorry just fooked off. Was not impressed. It had been raining but i wasn't going fast cus the road was a 30mph limit.

see thing is, if you never arse about on your own, wet or dry, when shit happens like a lorry pulling out, you dont know the limit of the car and you spin, crash etc
rachael im not having a go at you, this is not directed at you, and glad you didnt crash.
but, if you drive totaly sensible all your life and as your were taught, when ythe unexpected happens your fubar'd. why do you think advanced drivers and pursuit drivers get to learn in skid cars and the like,
im not saying go out and drive like a fool all day long, but if the oppertunity rises and you have a big open space, get the car to slide, and correct it, teach ourself the limits of your car so when you need it its there
and i am in no way at all saying i am a amazing driver, i have lots and lots to learn.
anyone who says they are a great driver are big headed and are asking to come unstuck at some point

Thanks for the advice, put it this way i don't drive sensible all the time but obviously when it's peak time and stuff i am careful. I've just never experienced anything like that before, it's a good job i wasn't driving like a nutter or it would have been a lot worse cus when i ended up was about an inch away from a parked car, i reckond if i was going fast i would of hit it

Hence why I go on drift days etc
Better to know what to do if it happens then just think that it will never happen
