I love my job; I work as an IT/Network Manager at a school and am a CCNA trainer (to adults) 2 nights a week.

There’s a technician in my team who is ALWAYS feeling down, depressed, bored and "can't be bothered" to do anything. He's been in this job for 5 years now (he's 23, same age as me).

He has no motivation and clearly hates coming to work. The only reason why he doesn’t leave is because he knows if goes to work for a company...he won’t last 5 minutes without getting the sack for being late and doing no work.

Being like this would REALLY sadden me and drive me crazy. I don’t understand how anyone can do this.

So I’m interested to see how many people are like me and how many are like my colleague

I enjoy my job, good team, fun, and enjoy bringing ideas to the table to further the company, which has been having a good sucess so I will continue doing so. Got a rise today too

i feel like your technician. never late etc though. IT is boring.
