how can you compare 1/4 times when alot more factors than power and weight are involved? what about grip etc were you running exactly the same tyres with the samepressures in them.....etc etc

you cant compare cars by 1/4 mile times properly.

a standard 106 gti does the 1/4 mile faster than a VXR touring car, doesnt make it a faster car.

better than trying to compare cars performance looking at rr graphs
like i said i dont care what your graph said, i bet take that vts out alongside that corsa and it would win

My car was RR'd at Vsport and I trust Dave's rollers and I doubt even if they were wrong he would lie about it as he is a genuine person after meeting him in person

indeed i was being sarcastic, i should have used smiley faces to bring my point across.

for example a would have done.

tbh i believe dave, figures make sense-its just like jeremy thompson wont admit vauxhalls can be good certain people on here wont believ that at times a different car can be better than a 106/saxo.

just my opinion though.

ps dave-ur rollers are still way out (thats better)

why dont you settle your vts vtr vs corsa or what ever arguements, with a drag up the 1/4 just so we dont ever have to hear them again.

because when the vts wins dave will chirp in with the "just because it wins up the 1/mile doesnt mean its faster" excuses

i would say its probably the best test of straight line speed you will get for two cars

no point taking it to a track tbh because it wont even be close enough to debate
