Why do you need a runaround?

£500 car + £6/700 insurance = £11/1200 to spend keeping the Golf on the road.

Get a Vectra - I had one that cost £600, 113k on the clock. Sold it for £400, did 14k, didn't cost a penny other than fuel and brakes.
