Last night i was out with a few mates on a random drive, (5 cars, me, corsa sri, ITR, ITR DC5 and CTR).
We ended hungry and went to what used to be Croydon Cruise where there is a mcdonalds open till late.
On our arrival there were 2 security guards telling us we were not aloud to park there 
My mates in front just turned around, when they come up to my window and siad this (me being an argumentative little cunt) asked how they were allowed to do this as it's discrimination.
After a long argument and a very long traffic jam behing me they allowed me in but by this time McDonalds had fucking closed 
What i wanted to know is . . . Are they allowed to do this? I mean, just cos my car has an exhaust and is lowered are they allowed to stop me parking?
They used to have rules and still do of 10mph, no wheel spinning and no loud music which i we were not intending on breaking!

They said they were preventing the scenario of another Croydon Cruise.
But surely they cannot stop and car from parking up and going into McDonalds ffs.

there used to be a similar thing at Southport, they would allow as many "unmodified" cars on the car park as they wanted, but they would only allow 2/3 modified cars to go on, and even then only to go to McDonalds. not that i'm that bothered as McDonalds is wank anyway

as topshot said, if its their car park they can pretty much do what they want. the difference is that your car can be deemed to be causing an annoyance whereas a black person going to mcdonalds for a meal isn't

I wasn't bothered about the food Although i was fucking hungry.
I was bothered the fact that i was not going to be allowed to park there just because i had a couple of mods.
If we all turned up in 1.1 standard fiesta's would they of let me in?
As in my experience the people that cause trouble are the knobs in their shitters doing handbrake turns, not the ones who have just spent 3 hours cleaning their car.

they don't see it like that, its not you they aren't allowing onto mcdonalds, its your car. if you parked elsewhere and walked there they wouldn't have stopped you

Probably as a car park full of 1.1 fiestas in their view is less likely to deter customers than several modded cars who could once let in potential cause problems

This is so ridiculous.
If i take of the exhaust and take out the show cage they would then probably not be able to tell it's modified. Would they then refuse entry to my car?

waste of time and money if you go to legal aid, if they own the car park they can do what they like and stop who/what they like. If its council owned they could still do it as they could have a clause where they can choose for the well being of the establishment.
dont waste your money, you wont change nothing, you wont gain nothing and its not like you go there alot? Drop it imo

Do i seriously have no leg to stand on then??? I've never really been so pissed off about something like this, but as it has actually been directed at me i'm really fucked off.
I've just read the leaflet they gave me, and it states 'once you have been refused entry if you or your car is caught on premises the police will be informed' and 'once you've been refused entry you will recieve notification of your banning oreder' my other mates never recieved this and they were ask to leave and did.

if they have a sign wih ticket prices on etc look for an address, send a pissed off letter to somebody important there voicing your disgust, get your mates to do the same

Croydon wasn't a bad cruise last year, were some very nice motors attending but it was usually some of the pikeys in shit box's causing shit with there 6x9's blaring.
Quite annoying it's been shut down and even more annoying is how it's being dealt with.
Thanks Andy i shall do that. I only work 2 mins away so will pop down there to see what i can find.
