Ive had about 50 pages of forms to go through, such a load of crap. Photocopy of driving license, mileage declaration, engine and chassis numbers and everything down to the finest detail. Including extra charges eg. £12 to check my driving license is real!

Ive had a form from 'premium credit limited', this says im taking out a loan to pay flux out right so I am paying off the loan for the rest of the year, 34.8% APR!! I was only assuming I would be paying the rate I was told on the phone no more.

For fuck sake I dont blame people for not declaring stuff, would be easy as fuck just to insure it as a 1.3 with quinn. Its only third party insurance, if I ever crash im not going to claim. Its only got to get me to and from track days/shows etc. Anyone suggest any other companies cos this sucks!!

Takes the piss how many forms you have to fill in.

Then they'll lose them and you'll have to do it all again, as they did with me...twice.

£502 a year for the GTi with Flux, £796 with Admiral

If there's shitloads of forms, I'll stay with Admiral til November when my renewal is up

It is literally pages and pages, and the hidden costs probably amount to more than what admiral are charging. I mean 34.8% apr, how much is that?

I don't know if Admiral insure caged cars, but it's worth a try, they've been good with me, changing policies all over the place without charging for admin fees.

The only reason Flux are cheaper in my case is that it's a classic policy, and the Admiral one isn't.

Try Admiral IMO

Yeah Butler, they sent me a letter saying they were going to cancel the policy because i hadn't sent the forms back. So I rang them up and they said they had lost some of the info. So i had to fill the whole lot out again.

If they dont refund the two hundred odd back I will be livid. Have you not found you are paying a silly amount to what they originally quoted you Jay?

Erm, i'm not too sure tbh My premium was 900 odd quid. But paying monthly took it up to 1000 odd i think.

Was going to pay it off all in one, but last time i did that and cancelled the policy, they charged me shit loads. And only refunded me a tiny amount of the premium. I'm going to be on the lookout for a new insurer when this ones up.
