To me 'rock' means screaming,shoulder length hair, spandex (optional) guitar solos etc.....

Most of the above seems like britpop/punk

Agreed with Iggypop 'passenger'..... although thats punk to me

Motorhead - Ace of spades and a couple of G&R stuff is about as far as rock goes for me

The 70's for me was punk and ska....

One of my fondest memories was squaring up to a few hundred bikers on Bournemouth seafront....
