I recently sold my corsa 1.4 8v and bought a small, cheap runaround - Peugeot 106 1.1
My insurance for the corsa was £350 TTFT, however when I came to transfer the insurance they wanted an EXTRA £150!!!
I have 2 years no claims bonus, 21 years old and no convictions/offenses or accidents.
Does anyone know of some really good, cheap insurance companies. Ive used confused.com but still they want £350 to insure me on it, to be honest I thought it'd be a fair bit cheaper being a small engine.

Sorry if i sound stupid but when they transfer insurance to another car do you just pay the difference up to when it runs out and then pay another year or do you pay the full year from now maybe a bit less depending on how long is left until it runs out.
sorry if you dont get me

If your paying monthly then they work it out and you pay the extra through the remaining months
