Most Americans drive autos anyway TBH, not many can drive both manual and auto so I'm told.

Most cars in the US market are sold with Auto boxes.

I believe it's beacuse they are all too thick/fat to change gears.

Maybe, or maybe they have cheap gasoline and roads that hardly ever curve and just seem to go on forever!
