redditch is a dump, try to head into worcester if you can its only about 15 mins away.

i live in redditch lol, there aint much here, got a nice cinema and not bad shops, id be tempted to jump on the train into birmingahm though.
and having driven redditch to worcester every day for 3 years it ainbt 15min away more like 45min

i drive to redditch from worcester regularly as part of my job and can make it in 15 mins easy down the motorway J5 then not far into redditch.
thats not in peak traffic though

Maybe form the very north most point of worcester junction 5 is about 12 miles from redditch! I worked in central worcester for 3 years fastest I could ever do it was just over 30 min and that was in the middle of the night peak time it would be well over an hour. City centre to blackpole would be at least 10 min and then your still in worcester. Must get myself a 106gti must be as good as a Delorean

im talking about j7 to somewhere in redditch such as headless cross, i did it only the other day in about 20 mins, get get frm j7 to j5 in about 10 mins then 10 mins from there to the bromsgrove highway into redditch
